NIce mixed bag of fish today. We started out in the Pass looking for Bull Reds, we broke a few fish off and landed a nice Snapper but never did land a red. Swithced gears and headed out in the Gulf. We trolled live baits for a little while and caught a King and a nice Spanish and missed a fewe other nice Kings.

Came back in the Bay and were lucky enough to find a pretty good Flounder Bite and a few bonus trout! Another beautiful day near Pensacola Beach!

Perdido Fishing Report / South Again Charters / 23 May 2013

Pretty good 4 hour trip today. We started out on a hot Pass bite. Bull Reds, Gags and Red Snapper seemed to be on fire till about 9:30. After the bited stopped we headed back to the flats to try and catch some slot reds.

We caught quite a few small reds and lost two really nice slot fish but never could seal the deal on any. Good trip with some great regular clients!

Perdido Key Beach | South Again Charters | 22 May 2013

Sorry for the break in reports... I had a few slow trips and didn't have a whole of good info to share.

Seems like the bite is back to normal.... or I got my mojo back, either way today was a great day on the water. Today I was joined by the Sheldon Party for a quick little four hour trip. We started out in the Pass and found a really good bite. We caught quite a few Bull Reds, Red Snapper and a really nice Gag then headed back and hit one dock really quick and were lucky enough to find two slot reds and a keeper Flounder.

Felt good to be back on the fish and a great group of guys to fish with made it even better.

Perdido REd Snapper | South Again Charters | 9 May 2013

WOW!! The day of the giants... Today two of my favorite anglers joined me for an awesome day in the Gulf. We caught a little bit of everything today, giant Snapper, Giant grouper, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Triggerfish, Lane Snapper...etc.

Its amazing how healthy all of our nearshore wrecks are this season... with 44 days of Red Snapper in State water this year, we are going to see some GIANT Snapper come to the docks!

Hallie and Deb I really had an amazing day fishing with you LAdies today and I can't wait till our next trip together Sunday!!

Perdido Fishing Report | South Again Charters | 8 May 2013

Little bit tougher day today... but we stuck to our guns and loaded the box. Today I was joined by Todd, John and Zane, we were looking for anything and everything that would bite our line. I hope to catch a few Bulls early but by the time the horrible fog burned off and we made it to the Pass the tida had gone slack and the bite was over.

We switched gears and went after the Spanish, they are everywhere now. We located tons of fish in the Gulf and down the beach. PLus for the first time this year there were tons of fish jumping along the Ft. Pickens beach back inside the Bay.

After the Spaniards we hit a few docks I haven't looked at it an a while a were able to top of the cooler! Great trip today and Thank you Dr. Todd for continuing to fosh with me and I look forward to our next trip together!

Perdido Key Charter Boat | South Again Charters | 7 May 2013

If it's red... we caught it today! We started out on a few docks trying to catch a limit of slot reds but were only able to catch one keeper and a few rats. After that we headed straight to the Pass. The Bull Reds seemed to be biting as good today as they have been in quite a while. We managed to boat a couple monsters fairly quickly including one monster that weighed 26lbs!!

After the bulls we eased out into the Gulf looking for schools of Spanish... We caught several really nice Spanish and managed to lose as many as we caught! It was really nice to seem some nicer weather and I was really glad to see the Bulls cooperating again!

Thanks to the Brooks' for fishing with me again this year and I can't wait to fish with you Guys again in 2014!
